Updates

SAS Members passed a motion to continue our annual tradition and hold a Fourth Annual Illinois Dark Skies Star Party in 2005. The star party will be held on Sept. 29th - Oct. 2nd. The club also disscussed have another Messier Marathon on Mar. 11th - 12th. There will be further disscussion on this event.

Treasury Report:    Treasury report was accepted by the club.

Planning and Grants:  We talked about the possiblity of modifying the existing dome structure on Don Jardines property currently owned by Clarke Woodruff. This would include changing the roof to a slide off roof.

Observing Program:  No Report.

Public and Private Events: There will be a Lunar Eclipse Public Outing this Wed. the 27th at the Rochester Library.

Star Party: The 4th Annual Illinois Dark Skies Star Party will be Sept. 29th - Oct. 2nd.
