Before the meeting began we were outside watching the northern lights which were visible here in Springfield Illinois! This was the first time many of us have every witnessed the lights. A meal was provided from Pasta house which Larry Hardy paid for. Larry also brought in a very interesting video from St Louis Astronomy Club.

A bill was presented for 96.00 by Clark, this was from Springnet for the website motion to pay by by Rick Branson, 2nd by Jim Roseenthal

A motion to move website to Midwest computer was presented by Don Walker, 2nd by Jim Roseenthal

A motion to pay 35.00 to Midwest comp to move website was presented by Glenn Cunningham, 2nd by Darren Hulskotter

We talked about epoch 2000 software and where the comet is, 8 mag and fuzzie.

Jim Rosenthal finished up his presentation on double stars.

Darren presented his program on SAS observing clubs, along with astro-league and ALPO training
