Updates

SAS discussed the C.H. Lanphier Dome project at this meeting. We are close to aquiring land near Pleasant Plains Illinois. Final design plans will be discussed soon.

Light Pollution Committee: No Report.

Public and Private Events: SAS's Astronomy Day was Saturday May 20th. Members were out from 4pm to 10:30pm. We had a pretty good crowd especially after night fall.

Star Party: Registration for the IDSSP 2006 is now open and 15 people have already registered.

Presentation

Tonights discussion topic was the Comet 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 3-C. SAS members discussed this unique comet and looked up pictures of it on the internet.
