SAS is holding a club member only outting to the Jim Edgar State Park on Friday July 29th - 30th. All food and drink will be supplied by the club.

The SAS is now part of the Nasa Night Sky Network! The NSN is a Nasa sponsored network that helps Astronomy Clubs educate the public about astronomy and other space related subjects. The NSN provides documents and materials to help in the effort.

Treasury Report:   Darren handed out the latest numbers.

Planning and Grants:  No Report.

Observing Program:  No Report.

Light Pollution Committee: No Report.

Public and Private Events: SAS is holding a club member only outting to the Jim Edgar State Park on Friday July 29th - 30th. All food and drink will be supplied by the club.

Star Party: We will be sending out an email alert to past attendees. Gary Woener provided a list of objects that will be viewable during the event. We will make copies of these to hand out at the event. Larry will give Glenn the Speaker List to post on the web site.

Presentation

This months presentation was given by Glenn Cunningham about the Nasa Night Sky Network. The SAS is now offically a member of the network.
