The November 2003 minutes, written by Mike Robertson (thanks!), was accepted by the club.
Treasury report: There is nothing to report. A full report will be presented at the January 2004 meeting. Annual dues from the club members are due. Ray Watt made a motion to allow the treasurer to pay the bill for the PO Box. Luis Perez seconded the motion. The motion was passed.
Larry Hardy would like to thank Tony Hopp for hosting the club’s web site in the past. Glenn Cunningham successfully moved the club site to the new host. He also demo the latest changes to the web site. The changes look great and include the new Observing Program section.
Larry Hardy has a official letter that states the club is a 501c3 orgranization.
Board election was held. Candidates for 5 seats are: Mike Robertson, Ray Watt, Larry Hardy, Glenn Cunningham, and Fred Pilcher. A motion was made by Don Walker to elect the board members for 2004. Luis Perez seconded motion. The motion was passed.
Larry Hardy has heard from Owen Marsh School asking about having the club conduct an event on Jan. 22, from 6pm-8pm. There may be about 300 students. The event coordinator will handle this.
Illinois Dark Skies Star Party 2004 is set for September 16, 17, 18.

Ray Watt will also coordinate media and public relations.
Events for 2004 include Messier Marathon, comet observing, Astronomy Day, Venus transit, lunar eclipse, and a possible outing in June.
Reflector, magazine by Astronomical League, contains an article on Education and Public outreach. If you have not received the magazine, please contact any of the Board member for resolution.
